Zenith Associates and DSA went head to head as part of the 4th Big Bash League. DSA batted first and had a tough day out with the bat. Their openers Shoaib and Ameer contributed 18 and 14 respectively but were unable to capitalize on a decent start. After the pair were dismissed, the team never recovered at all, losing too many wickets too fast to keep the scoreboard ticking. Outdone by a fantastic display of bowling by Zenith with Muqarram Khan leading the attack with 3 wickets. Mohib Ahsan and Talha Altaf also chipped in with 2 wickets each and despite Abdul Wali's cameo of 18, DSA were bowled out for 96 runs.
In response, Zenith Associates struggled in the chase with DSA bowlers putting up a good fight. After losing opener Kamil for just 1 run, the rest of the team chipped in with the most notable batsman being Yasir Bangash who scored 27 runs and Mohib Ahsan's 19. Eventually, it took Sajjad Haider's 19 not out to help Zenith chase down the low total in 19.4 overs. For DSA, Hafiz and Akber took 2 wickets each and almost helped their side defend the low total.
Zenith Associates won by 3 wickets.
