Amadeus Super Cricketers batted first against Insurance Association of Pakistan (IAP) and put up a solid front at the 10th Challengers Corporate Cup. Opener Faizan Azam looked to lead from the front with an impressive 31 runs. Despite his partner Ibad falling for just 19, one down Zohaib Rizwan kept the momentum going with a blistering 49. Imran Qureshi and Rizwan Ahsan also chipped in with cameos of 19 and 18 respectively as Amadeus Super Cricketers ended at 149 for 4 in 20 overs. IAP bowlers did well to restrict the flow of runs with Umer Noor in particular taking 3 wickets in his spell.
In response, the entire IAP batting unit chipped in to get their team over the line. Aamir Abbas and Asfar Zaidi were the true stars of the day with knocks of 38 and 27 runs respectively which all but sealed a victory in the chase. Zohaib Rizwan took 2 wickets but was unable to defend his side's total as IAP chased down the target in 18.5 overs.
IAP won by 5 wickets.
