Royal Stars batted first against N.K Rangers and lost opener Khizar Azam for duck! Things did not get any easier for the batting side after that as they continued to lose wickets regularly. Waleed Azim was the lone fighter for his side with a match saving 63 that helped boost Royal Stars to a respectable 146 for 7 in 20 overs. None of the other batsmen were able to keep their wickets intact. NK Rangers bowlers did well to limit the opposition, picking up wickets when needed. Abdul Kareem was the star for his side taking 3 wickets in his spell. Ali Raza also took 2 wickets and Raees picked up a wicket.
In response, NK Rangers lost their openers cheaply but recovered well after that. Saim and Aftab both contributed half centuries scoring 59 and 52 runs respectively to helped set up a comfortable victory for their side. However, after the pair were dismissed, drama ensued as there were a string of quick wickets including 2 ducks but NK Rangers got over the line in 18 overs. Shaheer Azim took 3 wickets while Hammad Masood took 2 and Sohail picked up a wicket.
