Super Daddy batted first against Terry World Tigers in a thrilling match of Legends Cup. The openers of Super Daddy brilliantly controlled the game and laid the foundation of victory by adeptly scoring some big runs. Shehryar Qadir made 33 runs while Rehan Shaikh played a stupendous innings of 77 runs with a strike rate of 160 and went unbeaten. The small contributions from the rest of the team summed up the total score of Super Daddy CC to 156 in 20 overs at the cost of 8 wickets. The bowling side after getting beaten by the openers did some controlled bowling. Shahid Nepal was the highest wicket taker from Terry World Tigers claiming 2 wickets.
In reply, Terry World Tigers lost opener Asif for duck. But it was Hammad Sheikhani’s 33 runs which kept Tigers in the game. Rehan Hanif’s 25 and Shahzeb Ahmed’s 28 brought the Tigers closer to the target. Unfortunately, to do it in the allotted overs, they were just short of 4 runs. The bowlers of Super Daddy did an excellent job and continued to take wickets in regular intervals to contain their opponents from making runs. Naveed was the man from the bowling side who bowled dexterously and picked up 3 wickets with an economy of 4.25. Babar and Omar Farooq’s 2 wickets each also contributed in limiting the opposition to 153 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets.
