The Khatri Super League continued this past weekend with Jaguars and Bulls going head to head. Bulls batted first with their openers throwing away their wickets cheaply. One down Ateeq Gaider however played a brilliant anchor role, providing support to his side and keeping the scoreboard ticking. His knock of 67 was exquisite under pressure, including 9 boundaries and 2 sixes. Zain and Farrukh also provided some hope with cameos of 21 and 24 runs respectively. Jaguars bowlers did well to keep the opposition under pressure with Kamran leading the attack, taking 3 wickets in his spell. Shoaib and Hanif kept things tight on their end with 2 wickets each as Bulls ended at 165 for 8 in 20 overs.
In response, Jaguars were off to a promising start in their chase with openers Irfan and Gul E Abbas top scoring for their side with 23 and 47 runs respectively. After the pair were dismissed however, the team absolutely collapsed with none of the subsequent batsmen able to keep their wickets intact. Taqi Dedia and Farrukh Anjaria did brilliantly to limit the opposition taking 3 wickets each as Jaguars were dismissed for only 119 in 17 overs.
Bulls won by 46 runs.
