Benitoz Panthers batted first against Suleman Textile Stallions with an aggressive mindset. Openers M.Ali and Ahmed Arshad got their team off to a decent start knocking 31 and 25 runs respectively. One down Hamza Qadir however was the real star of the day with a blistering 83 off 42 including 4 boundaries and 5 sixes. Mohib Ahsan also chipped in with 30 runs as Benitoz Panthers ended at a mammoth 202 for 4 in just 18 overs. Stallions bowlers were weak against the opposition, unable to pick wickets when required and going for plenty.
In response, Suleman Textile Stallions started off strong with Adeel Khan's handy 31 and valuable knocks of 42 runs each by Noman Ampara and Rabish Ahmed. The team however could not keep the momentum going and once the top order was dismissed, the rest of the team threw away a brilliant start. Hamza Ali Khan, Mamoon Imtiaz and Daniyal Liaquat kept the pressure on, picking up 2 wickets each as Suleman Textile Stallions ended at 161 for 7 in 18 overs.
