Nazeer Hussain batted first against Okhai Friends and made a quick hundred thanks to an unbelievable 72 runs from 23 balls by opener Khuram. The rest of the squad paled in comparison with the only other significant contribution being made by Mohsin and Aftab who each scored 28 runs to boost their side to a competitive total of 164 for the loss of 8 wickets. Imran Muhammadi however was in prime form picking up 3 key wickets in his spell. Abdur Rehman also picked up a couple to keep the pressure on.
In response, Okhai Friends made easy work of the target, finishing in 18 overs with 8 wickets remaining. Okhai Friends openers, Ahmed Sharjeel and Faizan Malik, were even more impressive than their counterparts, with the former scoring 58 runs from 35 balls and the latter 83 runs from 53 balls (not out), which left very little for the rest of the team to make up. Nazeer Hussain bowlers were weak against the opposition, unable to make the breakthough when needed.
Okhai Friends won by 8 wickets.
