Zamzama United batted first against Karachi Knights with Zohair and Saad stepping up for their side. Both openers contributed effectively at the top with knocks of 34 and 38 runs respectively, but the team fell apart after that. With the duo dismissed, Rizwan ripped through the line up with a lethal spell of 4 for 14 while Ayan picked up a couple. Zamzama batsmen kept at it, chipping a few runs here and there to keep the scoreboard ticking, eventually managing a respectable 163 for 8 in 20 overs.
In response Knights team were a wreck in the chase. The entire team fell apart with the exception of Sharjeel Ahmed who singlehandedly steered the victory for his side with a sublime 65 off 33 under pressure. He received little to no support on the other end with only Jawad Iqbal's 10 and Nomi's 16 being the other batsmen to get into double digits. Zamzama bowlers did well to try and contain the opposition with Asad's 3 wickets and Zohair's 2 threatening to take the game away. Karachi Knights eventually chased down the target.
