Camran CC defeated Dolphins CC in the final match of the 23rd Super Challengers Cup.
Dolphins CC batted first and were off to a decent start as their openers made 18 runs and 14 runs respectively. Azhar Khan’s 21 off 28 balls and Akhtar Muhammad’s 22 off 11 balls helped the team post runs on the board. Danish Khan also contributed 26 runs to the team’s total. Despite their efforts, the remaining batsmen got out for single digit scores and the team reached a low score of 133 runs. Camran CC’s Sheraz Hussain bagged 3 wickets while Mir Ahnaf and Saqib Khan claimed 2 wickets each.
Camran CC struggled in the beginning as both of their openers got out for scores of 1. However, their middle order batsmen responded well as mUhammad Zubair scored 30 runs off 36 balls and Kamran Salam made 31 off 28 balls. Ammar Iqbal also contributed a quickfire 37 off 20 balls, including 5 boundaries. Jamil Agha smashed 25 runs off just 9 balls to help his team seal victory. Zarak Khan took 3 wickets for his side.
Camran CC won the final by 4 wickets.
