Atlas Pakistan earned a very close win in the super over of the final match of the Challengers Cup, against AIMMZ Trading.
Atlas Pakistan batted first and smashed 156 in 20 overs for the loss of five wickets. Adeel Khan hit 45 from 35 followed by 26 from 25 by Ali Shah. Mirza Shoaib then made 52 from 32 to finish of the innings. Abdur Rehman Sr took two wickets while Sheikh Hammad took one.
AIMMZ Trading came back with their own 156 runs in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Haider Ali's 61 from 45 and 26 from 22 by Zain Khan helped AIMMZ Trading tie the match. However, when it came down to the super over Atlas Pakistan managed to edge out AIMMZ because of a careless mistake by Sheikh Rafay who began celebrating too early and was unable to complete his run which would have won him the match as the bails were dropped before he crossed the crease.
