Up against QP Star, Mujahid Sports posted a total of 170, easily chased down by the QP Star batsmen with eight balls to spare.
Batting first, Mujahid Sports got off to a relatively slow start, losing their openers early in the innings. The middle order did well to rebuild with contributions from Omer Ali, Basit, and Faizi. QP Star managed to bounce back in the game with Muhammad Shamshad tearing through the lower middle order, picking up four crucial wickets and significantly deterring the run flow. A final push from Zain, who scored 19 runs off 12 deliveries, allowed Mujahid Sports to post a respectable 170 on the board.
In response, QP Star batsmen got off to a flyer with openers Wajid Khan and Kamran Khan laying a solid base. Wajid Khan top-scored with a calculated innings of 81 runs from 57 balls. With vital contributions at the top, the middle order was able to steadily cruise to the finish line. Although Ijaz managed to pick 2 important wickets, the QP Star batsmen were well in control of the game, seeing their team through to victory.
