In a comprehensively one-sided match, Dolphins CC heavily dominated Ridan Warriors in the 23rd Super Challengers Cup.
Batting first, Ridan Warriors got off to a seemingly stable start, despite losing an early wicket. Anas Javed and Ahsan Hussain formulated a good partnership with Anas securing a classy 44 off 32 deliveries. The bowling side bounced back almost immediately, however, as Akhtar Muhammad tore through the top order. His impressive figures of 3 wickets for 11 runs changed the complexion of the first innings entirely. None of the other Ridan Warriors batsmen got going after this point. At a loss of 7 wickets, the batting side managed just 115 runs on the board.
After a decent bowling effort, Dolphins CC's openers came out firing on all cylinders in the second innings. With a small target to chase, they took the game away from Ridan Warriors within a matter of a few overs. The bowling star of the first innings, Akhtar Muhammad, once again excelled with the bat. His 70 runs off 42 balls made the chase an easy affair for Dolphins CC. Combined with his partner's 30 off 35, the batting side got over the line in just 13.3 overs.
Dolphins CC convincingly won the game by 9 wickets.
