Cocoon Home v Khas- Qualifier
Cocoon Home batted first completely losing their way. The team had a disastrous day with the bat, losing 8 of their batsmen for single digits. Bilal Chinioty was the only batsman to show resistance with an exceptionally valuable knock of 51 runs. Fahad Jabbar was the only other batsmen to make it to double digits contributing 17 runs. Khas bowlers were ruthless against the opposition with Ali Amin and Touqeer Malik taking a combined 7 wickets. Cocoon Home were bowled out for 109 in 18.4 overs.
Khas were confident going into the chase, only to be shattered. The team was unable to click, throwing away their wickets, struggling to keep the scoreboard ticking. Cocoon Home fought back with the ball with Hassan Shahab leading the attack picking up 3 wickets. Khalid Butt assisted with his 2 and the chasing side gave it away with 2 fatal run outs. It was an unbelievable finish as Khas were bowled out for 102 runs in 19.1 overs
