Benitoz Bowlers Dominate Suleman

Benitoz managed to pick up the win against Suleman Classic Shaheen this past Tuesday at the Benitoz Super League. 

Benitoz batsmen Khurram Saleem and Ahmed Arshad opened the first innings, getting their team off to a decent start, contributing 20 from 23 and 46 from 45 respectively. The team however did not have any spectacular innings or partnership and continued to lose wickets throughout. Fahad Iqbal and Haseeb Nadeem also chipped in with 28 and 22 runs respectively as Benitoz ended at a defendable 163 for 6 in 20 overs. Classic bowlers kept the pressure on, never letting the game get away from them. Shahid Nepal was the key wicket taker for his side, picking up a couple. 

In response, Suleman Classic were off to a strong start with Afnan Karim's 37 and 15 runs by Hamza Jameel. The team however were unable to build an innings, losing wickets too frequently to gain any momentum. Shehzad Abduli was the last of the batsmen to show any intent in the chase with 26 runs while the rest of the side imploded. Bilal Amin was outstanding in his spell, picking up 3 wickets while  Faisal Arshad and Yasir Manzoor took 2 wickets each as Benitoz bowled out the opposition for 142 runs in 19.4 overs

Benitoz won by 21 runs.
