Bilal Shines in Sabuwala Win

SVTB batted first against Sabuwala Strikers at the Bantva Super League with the team struggling to get going at any stage of the innings. With the exception of Tayyab Balagamwala's 23 and Faraz Ahmed's fighting 30, none of the other players showed any intent to keep their wickets intact and the scoreboard ticking. Strikers bowlers were on point, keeping things tight and picking up wickets consistently throughout the innings. Bilal Omer was the key wicket taker for his side with 2 scalps while Abdullah Imran and Bilal Tariq bowled economic spells to pick up a wicket each while 3 run outs caused further damage a SVTB ended at 148 for 9 in 20 overs.

In response, Sabuwala Strikers were off to a roaring start in the chase with opener Bilal Omer leading from the front. His 84 off 55 came off 11 boundaries and 2 sixes. His partner Hamza Altaf helped provide support on the other end with a cameo of 26 and despite a flurry of quick wickets later in the innings, Faheem Bilwani's 18 not out was enough to help Strikers to a comfortable victory in 19.4 overs. Ammar Shoaib and Moin Jahangir did well to fight back, picking up 2 wickets each for their side but it simply wasn't enough.

Sabuwala Strikers won by 4 wickets.
