What a match at the Bantva Super League! An unbelievable battle between Umair Yousuf and Rabish Ahmed as SVTB and Rims Lions went head to head. Trail Blazers batted first with Umair Yousuf taking on the bowlers with an impressive 106 not out off just 69 balls to get his team off to a roaring start. Tayyab and Mujtaba were both dismissed cheaply before Shahvez Yaqoob stepped up to provide the support he needed with a fiery 42 off 23 balls to take SVTB to a competitive 188 for 3 in 20 overs. Lions bowlers were relatively ineffective and with the exception of the few early scalps, could do little to contain the opposition. Sumair, Rabish and Ubaid took a wicket each.
In response, Rabish Ahmed was on fire with a sublime 129 not out 66 balls including 13 boundaries and 5 sixes to almost singlehandedly win it for his side. Umair Majeed chipped in with 19 while Hasan Raza's cameo of 21 helped seal the victory in 19.4 overs. Umair Yousuf fought back with the ball picking up 2 wickets in his spell while Ammar Shoaib also took 2 wickets but Rabish was unstoppable in the chase.
