Sabuwala Strikers won the match by four wickets against SVTB at the RLCA Gulberg on Monday, 18th March.
SVTB were off to a solid start and throughout the batting lineup performed consistently well and were able to put on a target of 148 in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. This was largely in part to the very poor bowling from Sabuwala’s end as they conceded 42 runs in extras. Abdullah Imran took one wicket and so did Bilal Tariq and Hammad Imran while Bilal Omer took two.
Sabuwala Strikers made up for their poor bowling with their very impressive batting as they started scoring massively from the opening batsman Bilal Omer who made 84 from 55 and Hamza Altaf who made 26 from 17. The team managed to make 153 runs in 19.4 overs for the loss of six wickets. Moin Jahangir and Ammar Shoaib took two wickets for SVTB.
