Gigi Gladiators won the match by eight wickets against the Karachi Stallions, at the Naya Nazimabad Ground this past week.
Karachi Stallions batted first and were off to a moderate start. They managed to make 140 runs in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Fahim Sheikhani made 32 from 28. Waqas Wakeel made 29 from 24 and Ahmed Kapadia made 27 from 21. Adeel Abbasi, Obaid Ghazi and Owais Gigi took two wickets each while Abdur Rehman Bawany, Khurram Wahab and Afzal Gigi took one wicket each.
Gigi Gladiators chased the target in 18.1 overs for the loss of just two wickets thanks to some impressive batting from Shahzaib Dyer who made 41 from 40. Khurram Wahab who made 29 from 18 and Atif Ahmed who made an impressive 54 from 46, not out. Muhammad Waseem and Taha Karsaz took one wicket each.
