Karachi Patriots Vs Tanishq Gold C.C
Karachi Patriots were off to a marvelous start with their opening pair who did a pretty good job in the first innings to give their side a decent head start. Tayyab and Faisal Butt carried a 69 runs partnership from which Faisal Butt was the highest scorer with 59 runs to his name. after their dismissal, came in Aamir Motiwala at number three and he added decent numbers to the scoreboard by scoring 27 runs. Usman Yunus Ghani and Ritchie were the last two batsmen standing by the end of the first innings and both of them scored big runs for their team to secure a massive total. Usman scored 47 runs and Ritchie scored 19 runs, which brought their sides total to 189 runs at the end of 20 overs.
Tanishq Gold C.C were off to a relatively slow start in the second innings, compared to what we saw in the first one. Mirza Shoaib and Gul Mohammad were the opening batsmen and both of them scored and 37 runs partnership. However, Haider Ali came to his teams rescue and scored 44 runs just off 22 balls. Azhar Shah scored 21 runs and seemed to be doing well with the bat but Adnan Ghazi wasn’t allowing any batsman to stand his crease. Adnan Ghazi was the highest wicket taker from his side with 3 wickets to his name. Fahad Jabbar scored 23 runs and later on Abdul Samad Gaba and Abdul Wali carried a 30 runs partnership which was the end of the line for them. After their performance none of the batsmen were able to stand against the brutal bowling attack of the Karachi Patriots. Tanishq Gold C.C gave a good fight and scored 184 runs but it was just not enough to get them to glory.
