A.R.T Tawakkal Strikers came in to bat first & their opening batsman, M Ali Alam, provided a flying start with a quick innings of 43 runs off 25 balls. Hashim Hussain Vayani contributed 15 runs off 9 balls, while Dawood Dawson added 32 runs off 34 balls. In the later stages of the innings, Ammar Pasta played an explosive knock, scoring 42 runs off just 18 balls, and M Alam Bhimani contributed a valuable 35 runs off 20 balls towards the end. However, the rest of the batting lineup couldn’t make significant contributions. Abdullah Amir took two wickets for Suriya Fighters. A.R.T Tawakkal Strikers posted a competitive total of 199/6.
Chasing a target of 200 runs, Suriya Fighters started well with their openers, Bilal Aslam and Amin Suriya, scoring 28 runs each off 18 and 19 balls respectively. Hasnain Deriwala added 18 runs off 15 balls. However, the Suriya Fighters’ batting lineup faced a collapse as the bowlers from A.R.T Tawakkal Strikers picked up wickets at regular intervals, preventing the batsmen from settling in. Ibrahim Kasmani provided some resistance with a quickfire 29 runs off 19 balls towards the end of the innings. Ammar Pasta was the star performer with the ball, claiming four wickets for A.R.T Tawakkal Strikers, while Ayaan Ashraf and Anzar Pasta picked up two wickets each. In the end, Suriya Fighters were bowled out for 171 runs in 19.5 overs.
