Cocoon Home batted first and were off to an overwhelming start, as Fahad Jabbar began his knock with a bang and stayed his ground till the innings ended. While hitting 12 boundaries and a majestic six he scored 90 runs just off 61 balls. The team was out of their minds with excitement throughout the innings, as the scoreboard kept on ticking. Bilal Chinioty also did a wonderful job and played his part by adding 17 runs to the scorecard. Maaz Ismail came in at number three and he scored another 23 runs which were decent numbers for their team and gave an advantage in the total target to be set. Abdullah Saleem and Kamran Butt carried 31 runs partnership, thus Cocoon Home scored a total of 173 runs at the end of 20 overs.
With a huge total to chase, Wintex strikers did not have the advantage early on in the innings. Openers Faisal Butt and Adnan Salim got their team off to a solid start, scoring 58 runs in total. Faisal Butt was able to score a single run and went down after an LBW appeal. The team however lost wickets in regular intervals, but the batsmen kept on adding decent runs to the chase. Ahsan Zafar and Aamir Motiwala carried a 31 runs partnership. Bowler Kamran Butt fought hard against the opposition, taking 2 key wickets for his side. Adeel Sabuwala and Hunain Usman were the last two notable contributors for their side scoring 65 and 12 runs respectively before their side kissed the victory line. And just before the match was about to reach to an end, the batsmen quickly made their way to victory and finished the match in 19.1 overs.
