ICT v Insurance Association of Pakistan
IAP batted first and were off to a rocky start, losing opener Kamran Malik for duck. His partner Umer Ishtiaq however held the fort with an impressive 44 run knock which included 3 maximums. He received little support on the other end as the team simply imploded. Outdone by an incredible display of bowling by ICT, 8 of their batsmen were dismissed in single digits. Ubaid Umer and Hunain Usman were the pick of the bowlers, picking up 3 wickets each. Talha Ahmedani followed with his 2 wickets. IAP batsmen were helpless against the onslaught and were bowled out for 110 runs in 18.4 overs.
It was a stable chase for ICT with openers Adeel and Haris contributing 20 and 15 runs respectively. With a modest target on the board, Ibaad Khan's impressive knock of 48 runs comfortably lead his side to victory. IAP bowlers were unable to pick wickets at key times or restrict the flow of runs. Saeed Khan, Sameer Butt and Nawaz Khan picked up a wicket each. ICT chased down the target in 12.2 overs.
