Labbaik Sports v Shan XI
Two competitive teams, Labaik Sports Cricket team and Shan XI faced each other in a t20 fixture at Public ground. Labaik Sports batted first and lost opener Shazad early but then captain Zohaib and Junaid had a good partnership. Zohaib got 37 runs while Junaid played a responsible and aggressive knock of 61 runs off 34 balls which included 3 boundaries and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 179%. A Wahid did even better in terms of strike rate and scored 31 runs off just 12 balls at a strike rate of 258%. His innings included 2 boundaries and 2 sixes as Labbaik Sports ended at 191 for 8 in 20 overs. For Shan XI, Athar got 3 wickets while Akhter, Fahad and Imran got a wicket each.
In reply, Shan XI lost 3 early wickets of Fahad, Waqar and Akhtar and continued to lose wickets at regular intervals in the face of some good line and length bowling by Labbaik Sports bowlers. Nasir was highest scorer with 37 runs while Aurangzaib got 36 runs and Athar got 24 runs but Shan XI were all out after having scored only 159 runs. For Labbaik Sports, A Wahid repeated his batting heroics in the bowling field also and took 4 wickets for just 16 runs in an excellent all round display of batting and bowling skills. Zohaib and Hammad got 2 wickets each while Imran got a wicket.
Labbaik Sports won by 32 runs.
