AAG CC beat the Royal Stars by 27 runs, in a thrilling contest at the Nazeer Hussain Gymkhana Ground.
AAG CC produced a flurry of powerful knocks which helped them reach 163 in 18 overs for the loss of just three wickets. Kamran Ibrahim made 44 from 29, Saad made 28 from 28, Haris Ali made 39 from 27 and Waqas Rao made 37 from 25. Hasan Tariq took two wickets while M Rab Nawaz took one.
The Royal Stars came close to chasing the target despite a poor opening start. In the end, however, even Jaseem Ahmed's 60 from 27 and Hasan Tariq's 25 from 24 was not enough as the Stars were stopped for 136 in 18 overs. Gul Hassan took three wickets while Kamran Ibrahim and Jawahir Zaidi along with Mobeen Chapra and Saad took one.
