Stallions batted first and Rehan Tanoli was dismissed for just 1 run while Amir Majeed followed with a duck and Noman Ampara was out for just 2 runs as Stallions crashed to 8 for the loss of 3 wickets. Fahad Jabbar with 23, Saad Razzak with 22 and Waseem Ali with 21 runs provided some resistance but the run rate remained slow in the face of some steady bowling by Patriots and Stallions ended at 121 for 8 in 20 overs. For Patriots, Hunain Usman and Imran Idrees took 2 wickets each while Adeel, Noman and Rehan picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Patriots lost Adnan Salim for 8 runs but Hasan Mehmood with a steady 31 and Talha Faheem with 35 provided stability before Adeel Abbasi hit a quick fire 41 off 21 balls to get Patriots home with more than 5 overs to spare and for the loss of 3 wickets. For Stallions, Muhammad Ali took 2 wickets while Rehan Tanoli got a wicket.
