Bilal Associates put on an absolute masterclass at the RLCA Gulberg this past week as they ran through their opponents, the ZMCC Ramzan and beat them by 76 runs.
Ahmed Hussain and Babar Malik were hitting hard right off the bat and made 70 from 40 and 64 from 43 respectively helping to push the team’s total to over 200 runs. At the loss of only five wickets in 20 overs, Bilal Associates made 210. Obaid Ghazi took two wickets while Shahzaib and Saad Dawood managed one each.
ZMCC paled in comparison and could not produce a match winning knock like their opponents. Kashif Sajjad (33 from 23) and M Asghar (23 from 13) tried their best to help push the team to victory but failed to do so. ZMCC collectively scored 134 in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Bilawal Malik and Ahmed Hussain took two wickets each while Bilal Khan, Waseem Ali, Arif Yaqoob and Asif Izhar took one.
