Terry World Tigers batted first against Dawston Stars at the Karachi Masters League with both openers contributing cameos at the top. Arsalan knocked 36 runs while Rameez Mehboob scored 22. The team however lost their way after that, throwing away their wickets cheaply, only to be saved by Rehan Tanoli lower down the order. Rehan's 59 off 31 was the team's saving grace, helping the Tigers to reach 184 for 8 in 20 overs. Dawson bowlers did well to pick wickets early on but eventually let the opposition score freely. Osama Ayub and Anzar Pasta were the key bowlers for their side with 2 wickets each.
In response, Dawson Stars also lost a series of quick wickets early on in the innings. Owais Pasta and Ahmed Qureshi then tried to steer their side to safety with Ahmed doing the brunt of the work. Owais contributed a cameo of 26 but Ahmed's match saving knock of 62 off 44 balls lead their side to victory. Khalid Kaka also chipped in with an explosive 26 not out. Tahir Rangoonwala and Imran Sultan tried to pull back the opposition with 2 wickets each while the rest of the unit chipped in. Eventually however Dawson Stars chased down the target in 19.1 overs.
