Aimmz Trading and Downtown Chowdhurys went head-to-head against each other on 15th August at the Eastern Star Ground.
Ayub Tahir and Azan Khan opened the innings for Aimmz. While Ayub scored only 12 runs, Azan got out on a duck. The innings were stabilised by the one-down batsman, Bilal Khan who scored 46 runs. In addition to this, Fared Shah Arbab and Haris Shams played crucial innings as they scored 34 and 53 runs respectively. Zeeshan Nasir was successful in bagging 2 wickets. Therefore, Aimmz set up a target of 172 for the opponents.
Waqas Akbar and Muhammad Talha opened the second innings scoring runs in 30s. In addition to this, Muhammad Wajahat Ahmed scored 33 runs, however was run out by Fareed Shah. Zarak Khan dismissed 2 batsmen.
Hence, the match came to an end after 20 overs with Downtown falling short off 6 runs only.
