AIMMZ Trading took the fight to the Smashers, beating them by 23 runs at the CAA Ground.
A consistent and well managed batting order allowed AIMMZ to get 156 on the scoreboard in 20 overs for the loss of six wickets. Zain Khan made 24 from 12, Muneeb Mustafa 20 from 25, Fareed Shah 33 from 25, Bilal Khan 35 from 28 and Abdul Rehman 34 from 22. Usama Anis and Imran Ali took two wickets while Adnan Khan and Abdul Rehman took one.
The Smashers seemed to be going nowhere initially, but they were able to make a comeback. 50 from 44 by Faizan Azam and 19 from 20 by Faisal Dalvi came too late in the innings to make a difference. Fareed Shah bowled out half the team while Sheikh Rafay took two wickets and Zain Khan and Hammad Tariq took one.
