In the Day 3 fixture of the 3rd KK Super Sixes being played at the UBL Sports Complex, AIMMZ Trading were up against M.S. United in what turned out to be a comfortable victory for the former team.
AIMMZ Trading, after winning the toss elected to bat first. However they got off to a slow start after losing opener Sufyan Sattar for just 1 run. Nevertheless, middle order batsmen Saad Saleem and Zain Khan rescued their team with critical innings of 22 and 33 runs respectively, sharing 4 boundaries and 6 sixes respectively. Asif Siddiqui was the pick of the bowlers for M.S. United taking 1 wicket for just 9 runs in his one over. AIMMZ Trading scored 75 runs in their 5 overs.
M.S. United started their chase confidently with opener Sami Ullah scoring 24 runs of just 15 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. However courtesy the tight bowling from the AIMMZ Trading team, no other batsman could make any notable contribution. Adnan Akhtar was the pick of the bowlers taking a wicket for just 4 runs. M.S. United could only manage to score 53 runs in 5 overs.
AIMMZ Trading won the game by 22 runs.
