The Dubai Hawks came through in spectacular fashion against Inverex Solar Energy and beat them by five wickets at the Eidgah Ground.
Inverex put on a brilliant show as Mustufa Ali Asghar made 65 from 44 and Maavia made 38 from 34 to help score 130 in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. The rest of the batting order fell quickly and without scoring much which left Inverex with a modest total to defend. Akhtar Khan’s aggressive bowling took four wickets while Muhammad Ali and Khalid Khursheed Kaka took one.
The Dubai Hawks easily chased the target thanks to Akhtar Khan’s 57 from 35 which proved him to be a star player and match winner for the team. Subhan Ghani made 18 from 13 and M Khalid made 17 from 14. They chased the target in 15.1 overs for the loss of five wickets. Sanaullah Khan took two wickets while Waqar Saleem and Shahzad Khan took one.
