AL Zohaib Warriors batted first & were off to a poor start as they lost 3 wickets early in the powerplay. Bowlers were dominating & batsmen were struggling to spend some time on the crease. The bowlers kept on chipping wickets at regular intervals. The batting order collapsed & no batsman other than Bilal Aslam who played a sublime knock of 66 runs & Umair Usman who scored 35 runs showed some sort of responsibility. A valiant effort by these two took AL Zohaib Warriors to a total of 153/6. Mujtaba Raza picked up 3 wickets making sure that the momentum doesn’t turn towards the batting side.
Homage & Terry Stars came in to chase what looked like an easy target & were off to a dreadful start as they lost 2 wickets inside the powerplay. The middle order batsmen then showed some sort of responsibility & scored some quick runs but played one shot too often which resulted in their demise as well. The bowlers then completely dominated the game picking up wickets time to time. The batsmen had no answers & were struggling to stay on the crease. Shahwaiz Yaqoob fought hard scoring 24 runs but that was not enough as a Homage & Terry Stars were bowled out for 126 runs in 18.2 overs. Adeel Abbasi ripped through the batting lieup picking up 4 wickets & was well supported by Rehan Nepal & Yousuf Jetpur who picked up 2 wickets respectively.
