Adam Alpines v Fakhri Falcons
Adam Alpines batted first and what a disaster it was. After losing opener Hussain for just 6 runs, the pair of Moiz and Hussain attemped to stabilize the innings with knocks of 18 and 39 runs respectively. Once the duo were dismissed however the team simply imploded losing 6 quick wickets including 3 ducks. Falcons bowlers did well to restrict the opposition, striking when necessary. Ali Asghar was the star bowler for his side with 4 key wickets while Hussain Abbas chipped in with 2 wickets for his side. A late surge by Ammar Asghar of 30 run propelled Adam Alpines to 151 all out in 19.4 overs.
Fakhri Falcons were in control the entire second innings. Their openers Saif, Ali Asghar and Hussain DVD all contributed runs to keep the scoreboard ticking effectively. Ali was the most notable contributor for his side with a fiery 40 run knock. Shabbir Asghar Ali's 32 run innings eventually sealed a comfortable victory for his side in 19 overs. Alpines bowlers were unable to take wickets when they needed to and eventually could not defend their team's target.
