ZMCC Vs Spartans XI (2nd FC Corporate Cup)
An outstanding all round performance by the mighty Spartans XI that decimated the opposition and emerged glorious.
ZMCC were off to a poor start in the first innings with their opening pair. The top batting order failed tremendously in scoring decent runs for their side and get the scoreboard running. Danish Moin took up the responsibility from the middle batting order and scored 18 runs. After his push start, Gul Ahmed and Shoaib Ibrahim carried an effective partnership of 60 runs that gave their side a boost on the scoreboard. Spartans XI were continuously banging the batting side with their strong bowling attack, from which Haseeb was the key bowler who bowled an amazing spell of 4 overs and picked up 3 wickets. ZMCC scored a total of 134 runs in 20 overs.
Spartans XI were off with an impressive start with their opening pair in the second innings of the match. Kamran and Furqan Lohar carried a partnership of 25 runs. M.Usman came one down and scored a beautiful half century for his side. Hamza Ul Hassan and Saeed Gul were the pair to take their side through the finish line and enjoy the victory. Hamza Ul Hassan scored 37 runs and Saeed Gul scored 11 runs, that got their side the win over ZMCC. They chased the target in 18 overs and won the match by 6 wickets.
