Suleman Textile Stallions v Rims Lions
Suleman Textile Stallions batted first and struggled to get going. Losing their top order cheaply, wickets fell in heaps as the team was unable to gain any stability throughout the innings. Rims Lions bowlers were ruthless against the opposition striking at key times, not giving anything away. Rims bowler Muhammad Asad was the key culprit behind the attack taking 3 wickets with Rabish Ahmed and Idrees Amin picking up 2 wickets each. Shezad Suleman was the lone batsman to show any resistance with a fighting knock of 31. Noman and Maroof also scored 15 and 17 respectively. Suleman Textile Stallions ended at 98 all out in 20 overs.
Rims Lions had very little to chase on the board but somehow lost their openers cheaply. It was really Muhammad Asad who was on fire that day that scored a match winning 41 to see his side home in 17.3 overs. Farhan Asif did pick up 2 wickets but there was no chance of defending such a low total.
Rims Lions won by 6 wickets.
