Vanthali Memon Association batted first and after losing Khurram Wahab early for just 8 they recovered well as Aamir Majeeb and Farrukh Rangonia formed a brilliant partnership. Aamir Majeed scored a brilliant 56 off just 40 balls with 8 fours whereas Farrukh Rangonia scored 74 off just 44 balls with 9 fours and 1 six at a strike rate off 168. After a wonderful partnership, Vanthali Memon Association lost their way and their wickets fell in a heap. Ashar Ali was the chief destroyer with 4 wickets whereas Syed Wali and Abdul Wasay picked up 1 each. In the end, Vanthali Memon Association posted 178 in their 20 overs.
It was a good first innings score from Vanthali Memon Association but the start from Friends Xi with the bat was also good. Zohaib Ahmed and Khurram Ahmed provided some stability at the top and played good little innings. Zohaib scored 17 off 14 whereas Khurram scored 15 off 14 balls. After their dismissal, Irfan Ullah and Ashar Ali came in. Irfan Ullah scored a brilliant 66 off just 43 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes and after a wonderful bowling spell, Ashar Ali contributed with the bat and scored 55 off 35 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes. The two batted with utmost confident and shut each door for Vanthali Memon Association. In the end, it turned out to be a comfortable chase for Friends XI.
Friends XI won by 6 wickets in 19.1 overs.
