Benitoz Panthers batted first against Karachi Patriots at the semi final of the ACM Gold t20 Day League with opener Tabish Raza batting in fine form. His 62 at the top set the Panthers up well despite losing a few quick wickets early on. Sumail Aziz kept things going with his cameo of 23 before Mohib Ahsan's fiery 43 paired with Hamza Qadir's 35 boosted Benitoz Panthers to post a solid 199 in 20 overs. Patriots bowlers tried hard but were unable to restrict the opposition. Rizwan Merchant was the key bowler for his side, picking up 2 wickets.
In response, Karachi Patriots batting line up crumbled under pressure. After losing opener Faisal Butt early on for 6, the team never recovered after that. Umer Khan also picked up a couple as Karachi Patriots were bundled out for 155 in 18.5 overs.
