Super Daddy Cricket Club batted first against Karachi Boat Club (KBC) with Adeel Mansha turning up for his side. The star opener knocked an impressive 68 off just 42 balls at the top to get his team off to a flying start. Adnan Amjad contributed 16 and Omer Shahid scored 29 runs before Karachi Boat Club picked up wickets to pull their side back in the game. 2 crucial run outs and 2 key wickets by Shoaib Khan restricted Super Daddy CC to a competitive 175 for 7 in 20 overs.
In response, Karachi Boat Club struggled in the chase with only Shamas Ur Rehman and Yasir Farooqi putting up a fight. Shamas's fiery 52 and Yasir's 29 were the only hope for their side but once the duo were dismissed, KBC simply imploded. Zeeshan was outstanding with the ball, picking up 4 wickets in his spell. Ali Mufti kept the pressure on with his 3 wickets and Rehan Shaikh picked up a couple. Eventually KBC lost 8 of their batsmen in single digits and were bowled out for 129 in 16.2 overs.
