Warriors CC batted first and were off to a rough start as they lost quick wickets at the top without much on the scoreboard. Ali Aamir and Saad Samad bowled sensational spells at the top to give Karachi Star a perfect start. Ali Aamir picked up 2 for 19 and Saad was the highest wicket taker with 3 scalps. After a shaky start, Salman Moten and Wali Khan got together and tried to bring their side back in the game. They batted with determination and scored some useful runs during their crucial partnership. Salman scored 38 off 35 balls whereas Wali scored 46 from 33 balls. On the other hand, the bowlers did a great job Ali and Saad set the tone very nicely and later Taha contributed with 2 wickets as well to restrict the opposition to just 147.
Karachi Star were off to a splendid start with the bat, chasing 148 they wanted their openers to shine upfront and that’s what they did. Taha Karsaz and Farhad Khan made life difficult for Warriors CC bowlers with their aggressive stroke play. Taha scored 43 off 37 balls whereas Farhad scored 35 off just 24 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Once they were dismissed, Mughees propelled the score forward and scored a quick 51 off just 29 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes. The bowling was way below par from Warriors CC they conceded 18 wides in total which did not help them in restricting the opposition and in the end, Karachi Star comfortably chased down the score in 15.5 overs.
