HBL Whites batted first and completely struggled with the bat. After losing opener Shahid Sultan for just 6 runs, things did not get any easier as they were unable to keep wickets intact or the scoreboard ticking. Hanif Rathor top scored with 21 runs with Abrar Ali and Abdullah Sheikh contributing cameos of 16 and 15 runs respectively. The running was abmysal on the day with 3 consecutive run outs that hampered the flow of runs. Muhammad Rameez and Muhammad Usman picked up 2 wickets each for their side. HBL Whites ended at 95 for 8 in 20 overs.
In response Hyderabad Hurricanes opener Rameez set the foundation for a comfortable victory scoring 38 runs. Minor contributions by Waleed along with Usman and Manzoor helped Hyderabad Hurricanes to an easy victory. HBL Whites bowler Ghani Patni fought hard with 3 wickets but was unable to defend his team's total. Hyderabad Hurricanes chased down the target in 15.5 overs.
