Super Daddy Cricket Club v OGS
Super Daddy Cricket Club played against OGS at Moin Khan Cricket stadium in a friendly encounter. Batting first, OGS were restricted to 126 for 8 as none of the batsmen settled for long on the pitch and wickets fell at regular intervals. Iqbal Butt was the top scorer with 33 runs while Imran Shah got 27 and Saad got 22 runs. For Super daddy CC, wickets were shared between various bowlers as Shehryar Qadir got 2 wickets as did Yasser Mufti while Ali Mufti, Shahram Rasool, Rehan Sheikh and Shahzad Jumani got a wicket each.
The reply from Super Daddy CC was slow and steady and they batted at a regular pace as the required run rate was not very high. Omar Rehan got 31 runs off 38 balls but it was Adeel Mansha who batted till the end and scored 55 runs off just 42 balls to get his team home in the nineteenth over. Adeel hit six boundaries and a six in his innings at a strike rate of 130%. Ali Mufti played a supporting role with 18 runs off 18 balls. For OGS, Tariq got a wicket as did Imran and Moiz got 2 wickets. In the end it was a comfortable win for Super Daddy Cricket Club and credit to their batsmen who batted with maturity on a difficult pitch.
