All Star Renegades beat the QP Stars by eight wickets at the IBA Ground this past week.
QP Stars batted first and were able to put up a competitive total of 168 in 20 overs for the loss of four wickets thanks to an outstanding performance by opener Wajid Khan Bangash who made 84 from 61 balls remaining not out. The rest of the batting order however was unable to make as big a contribution. Rameel Aftab and Asghar Babar took two wickets each.
All Star Renegades very easily made the required total. They made 169 in 18.5 overs for the loss of two wickets. Asad Amin made 51 from 44 and Asghar Babar made 85 from 53, not out, to help push the team to victory. Rameel Aftab made 23 from 15, also not out. Hammad Ahmed took one wicket.
