Allied Friends Vs Bawa Defence United
Bawa Defence United batted first against the Allied Friends. Ahmed Waqar scored 6 runs and lost his wicket, on the other hand Kashif Khalid made a great effort to give his team the perfect head start by scoring 66 runs just off 35 balls. The entire batting order fell victim to the brutal bowling attack of Mudassir and Naveed Maqbool who picked up 3 and 2 wickets each respectively. Rest of the bowling order was lucky enough to pick up a wicket each. Imran Qamar made a decent contribution with his knock of 21 runs soon after which they lost all of their wickets at a total of 129 runs in 17.5 overs.
Allied Friends did a pretty decent job with the ball and all they had to do was apply the same amount of effort in the second innings with the bat. Nadeem Saleem lost his wicket after scoring 9 runs but the damage was covered by Nabeel Younus and Ali Fayaz who scored 28 and 21 runs respectively. Ahmed Majid and Waqas Tariq carried a 42 runs partnership that brought their side closer to victory. Sharjeel and Haris sealed the victory with their 9 runs knock together and chased the target tin 18.3 overs.
