Alpha CC beat AIMMZ Trading by six wickets in a very competitive final at the Nazeer Hussain Gulberg Gymkhana Ground this past week.
AIMMZ Trading batted first and Fareed Shah put on an absolute masterclass by scoring 120 from just 6 deliveries and remaining not out. This helped the team reach to a total of 182 in 20 overs for the loss of six wickets. Daniyal Ahmed took two wickets while Jawad Ali, Arif Yaqoob, Yaqzan Rajput and Muhammad Umair Shaikh took one.
In response, Faizan Azam from Alpha CC made 50 from 29 and Arsal Ali made 88 from 56, not out. Alpha CC chased the target in 19.5 overs for the loss of four wickets. Despite getting a close finish they remained dominant. Zain Khan took two wickets while Abdul Rehman (Jr) and Hammad Tariq took one.
