Hush Puppies batted first and were off to a rocky start as Sharjeel Maqbool wasted no time in taking down Asad for a duck. Usman however, scored 9 runs but eventually lost his wicket by a run out. Daniyal was the third man in and he got the scoreboard ticking with his knock of 19 runs. Farhan and Ahmed Arshad made an enormous impact on the game with their wonderful performance to stabilize the innings and give their team a chance to recover in the game. Farhan scored 61 off 48 and Ahmed scored 46 runs, bringing the total to 146 runs at the end of 20 overs. Sharjeel, Umair and Amir took a wicket each for their side.
Allied Friends were off to a decent start when both openers made little contributions to get the scoreboard running. Nabeel scored 13 runs and Nadeem scored 7 runs. Waqas Ali Vohra made sure that he didn’t allow ay batsmen from making big runs and he was picking up wickets right from the start and ended up with 3 wickets in his spell of 4 overs. Anjum scored 19 runs, followed by Mustafa’s knock of 8 runs. Umair Adil, Ahmed Nasir and Haris tried their best to get their team to victory and scored 32, 15 and 21 runs respectively but they were short on luck and balls to play. Allied Friends were limited to 134 runs in 20 overs.
Hush Puppies won by 12 runs.
