Finetex Vs Opera
Finetex batted first against the Opera and gave a tough time to the bowlers as the top batting order were ruthless against the opposition. Rais Ahmed gave an amazing start with his knock of 50 runs and his fellow opener scored 35 runs. Imtiaz was doing a decent job with the bat and scored 18 runs until he was retired hurt. Irfan ullah made another decent contribution to the scoreboard with his knock of 38 runs bringing the total to 161 runs in 20 overs. Only Turab, Anis and Aamir were able to pick a wicket each.
Opera was given a mega start in the chase by Badar who played the ultimate innings and remained not out with his scintillating knock of 87 runs despite losing his partner Anis for duck. Mumtaz made an impressive contribution to the chase with his knock of 37 runs, followed by Mansoor who scored 13 runs. Fintex bowlers were incredibly disciplined with line and length, not giving anything away to the opposition. Shakir, Azhar and Irfan picked up a wicket each and were successful in stopping the flow of runs. In a complete turn of events, Opera were restricted to a total of 154 runs in 20 overs.
Finetex won by 7 runs.
