Okhai Friends CC v Zahid & Sons
Okhai Friends CC played against Zahid and Sons at RLCA North Karachi Cricket Ground. Okhai batted first and lost opener Mohsin early after he had scored just 9 runs. Khuzaima batted well and kept the scoreboard ticking in his innings of 37 runs and was assisted by Asim who got 16 runs and Furqan who got 12 runs. However, none of the other batsmen reached double figures and Okhai Friends were all out for 129 runs. For Zahid & Sons, Naqi got 4 wickets for just 17 runs while Nadeem, Farooq and Tanveer got 2 wickets each.
The reply from Zahid & Sons was very confident despite the loss of Sheeraz who departed without scoring. Aqib shined with the bat with his innings of 81 runs not out off just 41 deliveries and his innings included six boundaries and five sixes. Ejaz got 30 not out and Naveed got 15 runs as Zahid & Sons reached home in 15.4 overs for the loss of only two wickets. For Okhai Friends, Mohsin and Ahmed got 1 wicket each.
Zahid & Sons won by 8 wickets.
