Ibne Insha CC Vs National Foods
Ibne Inshaa batted first with opener Sohaib's fantastic knock of 47 runs including 2 massive sixes. The team struggled with the bat, losing wickets in regular intervals with National bowlers keeping a tight line and length. Saadat contributed a valuable cameo of 21 runs but wickets kept falling on the other end. Rao followed it up with a quick-fire 26 runs later down the order to try and boost his team's total. Foods bowlers Adil and Azhar Ali were very successful in dismantling the top and middle batting order with their superb spells. Adil picked up 3 wickets with Azhar Ali adding 2 wickets to his name. By the end of 20 overs, Ibne Insha CC had scored a total of 157 runs.
National Foods did a marvelous job with the ball in the first innings and but were given a relatively low start by Irfan Khan who went down after scoring 3 runs only. However his partner Arif Khan came to his teams rescue and single handedly lead his side to victory. He played an astounding innings of 91 runs while hitting 6 huge sixes and 8 boundaries off just 50 balls. Ali Nasir contributed to the chase with his knock of 35 runs and in the end, it was Farrukh alongside Arif to seal the victory in just 15 overs.
