Arshad Associates won by a margin of 42 runs against Khan Jee, at the RLCA Gulberg Ground this week.
The brilliant knocks of Mirza Shoaib (31 from 31), Sohaib Ejaz (21 from 30), Akhtar Mohammad (31 from 23) and Talib Hasan (18 from 18, not out) helped Arshad Associates make 129 in 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets. They also took advantage of 16 extra runs. Hammad Saeed took two wickets alongside Waqas Iqbal while Kahaf Patel, Hamza Qureshi and Sheriyar Zuberi took one.
Thanks to the outstanding bowling of Arshad Associates, Khan Jee were all-out after scoring just 87 runs in 19.1 overs. Mohsin Khan made 16 from 28 and Hammad Saeed made 18 from 18. Nadir Shah took four crucial wickets while Faisal Ameen took two and Shahid Ali and Yousuf Ismail took one.
