Arshad Associates and Zenith Associates went against each other on 22nd August at the Asghar Ali Shah Ground.
The fist innings were started by Fauz ul Hassan and Malik Kakar Ali from Zenith. Fauz smashed 43 off 37 balls, hitting 4 fours. Hamza Qadir scored a half-century at a strike rate of 144.44. In addition to this, Daniyal Liaquat played a cameo of 36 off 14 balls. Akhtar Muhammad Lala took 3 wickets. Hence, Zenith posted a total of 165 runs.
The second innings were opened by Afroz Hassan and Muhammad Arsalan Farzand. Afroz got out on a duck, while Farzand scored 17 runs only. Arif Yaqoob was the highest run scorer, as he smashed 39 off 24 balls. Hamza Qadir managed to dismiss 3 batsmen.
However, even after a mediocre batting effort from Arshad Associates, they sealed a victory by one wicket.
